HOW VENEER PROCEDURE IS DONE ?

Lets explain you the complete procedure in step wise manner

Step 1

After explaining the whole procedure clearly to the patients we start off with veneers treatment. Minimal amount of enamel reduction is done only in upper layer of teeth. The reduction amount will be equal to the thickness of the veneer material. This will not affect the strength of whole teeth. So we do not wants to worry for trimming enamel.Once we reach enough amount of space for veneer placement we stop trimming and moves to next step.

Step 2

We will take impression of the whole jaw for perfect occlusion and finishing. Then will ask the patient to select the shade exactly equal to their other natural teeth.Meanwhile we will also guide them for shade selection. Then the impression will sent to dental lab for further process. It will take 3 to 4 days for the crown(veneers) to reach our clinic.

Step 3

Once the crown(veneers) delivered from the lab,we will make appointment for the patient to visit us.The veneer placement is done as similar to normal crown placement.First dentist will fix the veneer crowns temporarily to check the fitting, occlusion and shade. If minor corrections are there, that will be rectified there itself by your dentist. You can also make your suggestions to bring out your crown in your own way.If everything is fine then we will place the cement over the crown and make it fix. Then light curing is done to fix it permanently stronger.
