Trefoil implants comes with three implants in lower mandibular jaw over which a customised & pre manufactured titanium bar will be fitted.Then your new teeth will be fixed over the pre manufactured bar.
Trefoil is only specified for lower mandibular jaw.Not recommed for upper maxillary jaw.
HOW TREFOIL WORKS?
The main ingredient for trefoil implants is bone.Yes if you have enough bone in mandible,then you are the right candidate for trefoil implants.We first go for cbct x ray for bone diagnosis.Once bone quantity is determined , trefoil implant placement will be planned by your implantologist.Then on the day of implant surgery ,three implants placed in lower jaw.
Over which the titanium bar is fitted approximately into implants.
PROSTHETIC CONSTRUCTION
Impression and bite will be taken over the premanufactured titanium bar.This will be sent to respective lab for prosthetic work.As this was a pre manufactured bar ,we do not need any trail for the patients.Finally you will have a new smile on the day of surgery.
